FAQ

Straight answers

What mobile detailing costs, how booking works, and what we need from you. (A parking spot. That's it.)

Booking & Pricing

How much does mobile detailing cost?

Pricing depends on the package, vehicle size, and condition. Text photos of your car to (480) 331-9468 and you'll get a straight quote fast. The quote is the price.

How do I book?

Call or text (480) 331-9468, or send the quote form on the contact page. Same-week appointments are usually available.

What do you need from me?

A parking spot with a little working room. We bring water, power, and all products. Driveways, office lots, and apartment garages all work.

Is professional detailing worth the money?

For daily drivers, a real detail every couple of months keeps the interior from turning into a biohazard and the paint from dulling in the Arizona sun. For weekend cars, it protects the money you already spent. Honest test: if you'd never notice the difference, skip it. If you would, you already know.

Should I tip my detailer?

You don't have to. If the work impressed you and you want to, twenty bucks is generous and cash is easiest. Referrals mean more than tips.

What's Included

What's included in an interior detail?

Full vacuum (carpet, seats, trunk, seat rails, the crevices), steam clean on hard surfaces, spot shampoo where it needs it, vents and cupholders detailed, UV protectant on the dash and trim. Pet hair and heavy stains get quoted up front.

What's included in an exterior detail?

Two-bucket hand wash, wheels and tire dressing, bug and tar removal, windows inside and out, and a spray sealant for protection. No tunnel brushes, no swirl marks going back into your paint.

Do you do headlight restoration?

Yes. Oxidized lenses sand and polish back to clear, and a UV sealant slows the yellowing from coming back. Better visibility at night. Ask about it when you book.

Is engine bay detailing worth it?

It doesn't make the car run better, but a clean engine bay makes leaks visible before they become expensive. Add it if you're selling, or if you pop the hood enough to notice.

Trouble Spots

Can you get scratches out?

Depends on depth. Swirl marks and hazing polish out. Anything you can catch a fingernail in usually needs paint work, and we'll tell you honestly which side of that line yours is on.

Can you fix water spots?

Most of the time, yes. Fresh spots come off with a clay bar. Etched spots (the kind the tunnel wash burnt in over a summer) take a polishing step. Both quoted up front, never a surprise line item.

Bird droppings: do I need to worry?

You have hours, not days. Bird acid eats into clear coat if it bakes on in the sun. Rinse it off immediately with water, then book a spot clay bar if the surface still feels rough.

Can you remove tree sap?

Yes. Sap comes off with the right solvent and a clay bar, then we reseal so the panel doesn't dull where the sap sat. Common in the Valley from mesquite and palo verde season; not a problem.

Can you actually get pet hair out?

Yes. It takes specialized tools and time, so tell us when you book and the quote reflects it honestly. Never a surprise line item after.

Can you get smells out?

Most of them. Smoke, spilled milk, gym bag, wet dog: steam plus an enzyme treatment handles it. Heavy smoke sometimes needs more than one pass; we tell you that up front instead of hoping you don't notice.

Keeping It Clean

How often should I get my car detailed?

Interiors want a reset every two to three months if you live in the car. Exteriors survive Arizona summer with UV protection reapplied every three months or so. If you want to stop thinking about it, that's what Go Pro Mode is for.

How long does a detail last?

Interior work stays right for two to three months of normal use. Exterior protection depends on the product: spray sealant runs six to eight weeks in AZ sun. Subscription customers never watch the clock; that's the whole point.

How do I keep a black car looking clean in Arizona?

Black shows everything: dust, swirls, water spots. Two moves matter: hand wash only, no tunnel, and reapply protection more often than you think. Every four to six weeks in the Valley keeps it looking like the day you bought it.

What does seasonal detailing look like in Arizona?

Spring: bug and pollen wash. Summer: UV protection is the whole game. Monsoon: paint decontamination after the storms drop everything in the sky onto your car. Winter is the easy season here; that's when the deep interior resets happen.

Ceramic coating vs regular detailing: what's the difference?

A regular detail cleans and protects for a few months. Ceramic coating is a hardened layer of paint protection that lasts years and makes every detail after go faster. If you plan to keep the car long-term, coating pays for itself. Ask David for a straight recommendation for your car.

Service & Quality

What areas do you serve?

Based in Mesa, serving the East Valley: Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Apache Junction, and nearby.

Why not just use a drive-through wash?

Tunnel brushes drag the last hundred cars' grit across your paint and skip the interior entirely. Hand detailing cleans the spots machines can't reach and doesn't leave swirl marks doing it.

How long does an appointment take?

Exterior or interior alone runs one to two hours. Full details run two to four depending on vehicle size and condition. You get an estimate with the quote.

How do I prep for the appointment?

Clear personal items out of the seats, console, and trunk. Text a couple of photos of the interior beforehand for the fastest quote. That's it. We bring water, power, and everything else.

Should I detail my car before selling it?

Yes. A full detail costs a fraction of what a clean interior adds to your asking price, and it wins buyers on the walk-around. Interior condition is what most people notice first and remember.

How do I spot a bad detailing job?

Look at the panels in direct sun, not shade: swirl marks show as circular halos. Check door jambs, seat rails, and cupholders; the shortcuts show up in the spots people think you won't check. Ghost hint: a real detailer will tell you which spots they couldn't fully fix, and why.
